Community Farm Trip

On 1st May, Nora’s Class visited Surrey Docks Farm, a working community farm in Rotherhithe that aims to educate local people about where their food comes from and promotes getting active outdoors. We got to feed pigs and goats, stroke sheep and lambs, and learned a bit about animal life cycles to start off our new Science topic ‘Living things and their habitats’.

Did you know that a male goat is called a billy? Or that a baby turkey is called a poult?
