We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated After School Club Play Leader for our after-school care. To contribute to the provision of a wide cultural, recreational, social and educational play for children in the club’s care. To work as a member of a team in a flexible way, under the direction of the Wrap Around Care Manager, to ensure that the children in the after-school club are safe and secure at all times.

What we are looking for
The successful applicant will:
- Have experience of working with children aged 4-11 years
- Have an understanding of good quality child-care
- Be enthusiastic, friendly and show initiative
- Be able to promote social skills in children
- Have the ability to work as part of a team
- Be committed to the success of the school
- Be fit and healthy
- Food hygiene certification (however full training will be given)
- A current first aid certificate
Hours: Monday to Friday 17.5 hours per week (3.00pm – 6.30pm)
Term Time Only: 39 weeks
Hours during the holidays: to be decided.
Salary: Scale 2 Spine Point 3 – 4 £22,002 – £22,398 (Pro Rata Salary 39 weeks)
