Welcome to Kilmorie Primary School!
Welcome to Kilmorie Primary School’s website. Our school is situated in the London Borough of Lewisham, just off the South Circular, in a mixed residential area, between Forest Hill and Catford Stations. The school is on the ground floor below the Lewisham Professional Development centre.
Kilmorie Primary School was built in 1990, in and around the site of a much older school. We pride ourselves in combining traditional values of high academic standards and good manners, with more contemporary values of broadening and enhancing the curriculum in imaginative and creative ways. We are a fully inclusive school – everyone is welcome – and we strive to provide the correct level of support and guidance to help everyone reach their potential. We are currently developing our SEN provision and are able to offer quality education and support to a widening population.
At Kilmorie we believe learning should be fun and that you never grow too old for new learning. We are committed to preparing our young people for life and the challenges they may meet. We fully support the five key areas of Every Child Matters, and help all our pupils to be health, stay safe, enjoy and achieve, make a positive contribution and achieve economic well-being.
Thanks to the dedication and foresight of our staff, governors and families, we are now a successfully extended school, offering a wide and varied range of before and after school activities. Additionally, we are proud to share our newly completed Children’s Centre with all our local families and service providers. Please contact the school for more information or come along to one of our special events for under 5’s.
I hope you find your visit to our website an informative and enjoyable learning experience. If you wish to visit the school please phone the office beforehand to let them know – you are always welcome.
