This week in Reception, we have had a short but busy week. On the Bank holiday a giant came down the beanstalk and visited each of the three classes, leaving behind evidence of his antics. We then either wrote our weekend news or a report about what had happened in school.
All children have become very familiar with Jack and the Beanstalk through small world play, drama and learning Pie Corbett story actions to accompany the retelling.
All classes have introduced helicopter stories. This is where a child is celebrated by telling their own story.
All classes have taken responsibility for watering their newly planted tree, Jewel.
