Gardening News!

At Kilmorie School we are growing tomato plants for the Forest Hill Society Edible Trail. Year 3 children planted the seeds and the school halls are being used to grow the seedlings, they make great ‘greenhouses’ with their sunny window sills.

Year 4 have been growing vegetable seeds in their classrooms, beans, courgettes and brocolli. These vegetables will go in the school vegetable beds once Year 5 have harvested their broad beans.

We have had a lovely delivery from local tree surgeons, Amber Tree Care, who have previously given us woodchip and last week came over with lovely tree logs for our Wild Garden.
