There was no time to relax, as their first game started as soon as they arrived and it was their trickiest game of the evening. After a shaky start the team's confidence and determination grew stronger and there was no stopping them as they scored goals with determination.

Year 5/6 Girls Football Tournament at St Dunstan's Jubilee

Eight of our year 5/6 girls participated in a tournament run by St Dunstan's. The tournament celebrated the Woman's World Cup 2023, the England Lionesses reaching the Final. And the growth of girls football within the borough.

Some of our year 5/6 girls and boys had their first football festival of the year, and what a night it was!! The boys went to the final, and won 5-0 against St Bart's. The girls ended as runners-up after a tough final game and brought home silver medals.

The Girls St Dunstan's Football Tournament

The football tournament was a fantastic event and all the girls felt so happy to have been able to play at St Dunstan’s Jubilee ground. All the girls played absolutely amazingly, and I think a lot of parents/carers were impressed at the level of skill on show.

The basketball festival was hosted by Sydenham Secondary School in their amazing sports hall. We welcomed a number of young leaders from Sydenham, who did a fantastic job of refereeing the games and keeping a tally of hoops scored and points gained by each team.

On Wednesday May 5th 2022 we had a very exciting quick sticks hockey festival between three schools from the school sports partnership. Kilmorie, Rathfern and St Mary’s all brought along two teams of boys and girls from Years 4 & 5 to compete in a round-robin festival. Each school played each other once.
