Rights Respecting Schools
We have begun our journey as a Rights Respecting School and are very proud to have achieved Bronze: Rights Committed.
A Rights Respecting School is a community where children’s rights are learned, taught, practiced, respected, protected and promoted. We are now working towards achieving Silver: Rights Aware.

September 2025
Each class has been very busy creating their Rights Respecting Class Charter. Together they explored and chose the articles which are the most important to their class and agreed actions that the children (Rights Holders) and adults in the class (Duty Bearers) will take to ensure that these rights are realised and respected. Creating charters can support a positive learning environment for children in the classroom where rights are respected, protected and promoted.
